Traditionally a corporate teambuilding company, Hidden Door has many unique activities which can take place during your event to bring a theme to the functions and also allowing guests to simply observe and enjoy or get involved the interactive performances also make for great conversation starters at events where many guests might not be acquainted.
Something like an “Urban” theme can be perfect for a product launch. Utilising any outdoor space Hidden Door can provide graffiti artists to create an interactive experience where the ‘performer’ entertains guests by creating street art.
Hidden Door Director Will Gray says that guests can get hands-on learning the tips and tricks of street art.
“The session is run by renowned Australian graffiti artists who will invite guests to take part in this unique experience. The results are impressive with large works of art created in a short space of time and anyone can have a go”, he says, adding that guests can even create the themed walls for the event.
“Drying time is just 15 mins and participants wear face masks and gloves at all times making Graffiti a safe and enjoyable activity.”
Another unique addition they can provide to create a buzz at your event is using a Hollywood theme with a bit of a twist. The venue essentially becomes an active movie set.
“Using the theme or movie of your choice we will shoot a short film right in the middle of your event,” Gray says. “Incorporating ‘volunteers’ from amongst the guests to play supporting roles we’ll give them simple lines and a quick costume to get them into character while the rest of your guests mingle. Then it’s quiet-on-set as everyone turns to watch the filming of the scene. Always with hilarious outtakes, muffed lines and over the top acting its part interactive and part entertainment without hijacking the whole evening.”
Gray says that organizers will find that many outgoing guests will be more than happy to put themselves forward for casting and get involved while the more reserved will enjoy watching others. No one is pressured into taking part.
“We’ll shoot 4 or 5 scenes during the event to give guests plenty to talk about and leave plenty of time to network too,” he says. “Organised and shot by professional film makers with our own leading man at the core, ensures that the event stays on track and your guests will want to stick around to view the playback at the end.”
