California State University Lip Sync
Teams from all over California compete in an annual Lip Sync Battle to meet and connect.
California State University Lip Sync Battle
What began in 2020 as a way to help keep students and faculty connected during Covid, has turned into an annual event.
The purpose is to encourage connections and form stronger relationships across California State University.
Teams of 20 work together to create mini clips for their Lip Sync Battle before uploading and watching the completed videos on our university-wide premiere.

Frequently Asked Questions
How big is each artwork and how many people does it suit?
Each artwork is 3m x 1m and is suitable for up to 12 people to complete at one time. Any more than that and people aren't actively engaged.
Will we get paint on ourselves?
On your hands, possibly, however we provide aprons, gloves and masks to keep everyone paint-free.
Can you set up at our office or venue?
For sure! We just need to chat with you to ensure that the space meets our safety requirements for this experience.
What if it rains?
Unfortunately rain and paint don't mix well. If it looks likely to rain we can either postpone your experience or move it to an indoor venue.
