This belly-full-of-laughs Scanvenger Hunt sends small teams on a race to capture as many of the photo challenges as possible within 1.5 hours.
Teams get scored from 1-10 based on how creative they can be with their photo list so it’s a game of strategy and creativity as teams hunt down team photo opportunities. How creative and strategic can your team be to outwit your opponents in this hilarious photo challenge scavenger hunt?
Teams go head to head in a fun race to accrue as many points as possible. Best of all, teams can banter and follow each other during the adventure.
Ideally as a pre-lunch Christmas Party, we can design the scavenger hunt route to give you a purposeful and competitive team activity as you make your way to lunch or afternoon drinks.
Teams are equipped with a challenge list of quirky photo opps and locations they need to find and snap a picture of to earn points in this fun scavenger hunt.
The objective is to tick off as many of the photo challenges and dares as possible within two hours. Some will be location specific, whilst others will require teams to think outside the box a little. We can also create a themed scavenger hunt photo list for your team bonding day, Christmas party, conference or offsite, or for any special occasion.
Your host will kick off your scavenger hunt in a central location before sending teams off to locate and snap photo opportunities. The photo list is interpretive so teams don’t have to walk miles and miles to start racking up points. The purpose is quality photos over quantity in this team scavenger hunt.
As teams hit the finish line (or finish pub), we collate the scores and announce the winning team. Best of all, we can share all of the photos you took on the day as a keepsake of your amazing scavenger hunt.
Selfie Mania is an easy scavenger hunt that is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels that can be run all over Australia.
In Sydney we have some epic routes you can choose from including:
Need another scavenger hunt location? Chat with our team and we can tailor the activity to suit your preferred location or venue. We can also suggest some amazing venues to finish your race for a post-race bevvie.
Selfie Mania is all about getting outdoors, connecting with colleagues and having fun. But a scavenger hunt can go beyond being simply fun; it’s a powerful team building activity that encourages team bonding, teamwork, and innovation within a group. If you’re organising a conference, offsite or Christmas Party, consider a photo scavenger hunt like Selfie Mania as a great way for teams to connect and build stronger bonds. Another important factor of a scavenger hunt is its emphasis on working together as a team. In a photo scavenger hunt, individuals need to collaborate closely so they can strategise, find objects, and manage time effectively; all while having a great day out. This naturally encourages team communication in an organic and fun environment. Everyone brings their distinct abilities—such as problem-solving, navigating, or creative thinking—to the table. By utilising the different skills of each team member, they come to value the variety of talents present within their group, improving their capacity to collaborate successfully in the workplace. Integrating scavenger hunts into team building activities can greatly enhance team members’ interactions, communication, and collaboration during projects. The interactive format of a scavenger hunt motivates groups to step out of their everyday habits, resulting in increased creativity and deeper personal relationships.
