Teams are given a brief and a pile of LEGO, and have to design, build and pitch their creation against the other teams. It sounds simple. In practice it reveals a lot — who leads, who gets frustrated, who comes up with the left-field idea that ends up winning.
It’s one of our most popular indoor options for corporate groups because it works for mixed-age teams, doesn’t require any physical ability, and the debrief conversations it generates are genuinely useful. Creative Workshops
Companies who want something that feels less competitive and more collaborative, our creative workshop options — graffiti art, aboriginal art, video production — tend to generate a different kind of energy. If you’re a team who likse a puzzle and aren’t afraid of a bit of theatrical commitment, investigative formats work really well in indoor settings. They require genuine collaboration — you cannot win these alone — and they tend to reveal interesting things about how your team communicates under pressure.

Larger groups (100+), venues like ICC Sydney, Doltone House and the Hilton provide the space and AV setup that lets us run game shows and large-scale activities without compromise.
Mid-sized groups (30–100), CBD boardrooms and function spaces at hotels like the Rydges World Square or Novotel Darling Harbour give you flexibility without the cost of a large event venue.
Smaller teams (10–30), private dining rooms, brewery spaces in Surry Hills and Newtown, and rooftop venues in the CBD all work well for workshop-style activities where intimacy is actually an advantage.

A Few Things People Get Wrong
Booking an indoor activity as an afterthought. The best events happen when the activity is part of the plan from the start, not bolted on the morning of a conference.
Assuming indoor means lower energy. The most electric events we’ve ever run have been inside. Energy comes from the activity and the facilitation, not from being outside.
Picking the cheapest option and hoping for the best. Indoor team building doesn’t need to be expensive, but it does need to be well-facilitated. A poorly run activity in a great venue is still a poorly run activity.
