The Big Picture - Collaborative Art Team Building
This unique art concept turns small canvasses into one large artwork to reinforce the concept of working collaboratively together towards one common outcome.
Prior to the day we create a custom design based on your conference theme, company values or vision and create a series of designs for you to choose from. This final design is then high-quality printed onto all of the mini canvasses.
Working in small teams on the day, the group is asked to use a canvas to communicate a common theme. This may be anything from visualising your company values to defining your team culture, to how you see success for your team.
Teams then get creative in bringing their ideas to life.
After presenting back to everyone in the room, we then piece together The Big Picture as the final element of the day.

Our creative team will work with you to define the design for your Big Picture that is printed onto all of the canvasses, similar to a jigsaw puzzle. We’ll also define the theme or topic for the group on the day.
This could be “What is our game changer this year”, “What are the behaviours of our values” or any specific business or conference theme.
The individual artwork is an essential part of ‘The Big Picture’. It represents all team members working together to a common goal or purpose. This experience encompasses more than just basic colouring.
It encourages groups or tables to discuss the theme and create their own interpretation using icons, colour and images to tell a story.
We also offer some other unique art-based team building activities such as Mosaic Masterpiece, Aboriginal Art and our original Graffiti Art team experience.
The Big Picture introduces themes of working together towards a shared purpose; in this, a collaborative artwork. Supported by our creative team on the event, the group will be guided from briefing and throughout the entire process to artwork completion.
When groups work together to complete their art pieces, we encourage them to present their artistic creations to the team. The exchange of thoughts and viewpoints is a significant element of the experience, especially in understanding company values and team culture.

The Big Picture is designed to come to your office, conference or events venue. If you would prefer to get offsite, our team can help book a suitable space for The Big Picture.
It’s an easy team building activity to set-up within 15 minutes.
Our events team will put drop sheets down on the tables to protect them, and equip everyone with an apron to ensure you remain paint-free at the end of the experience.
We use paint pens, not free paint and brush, as it eliminates any chance of spilling and gives everyone more control in what they paint.
At the conclusion of the The Big Picture, our team will pack up and be out of the room as the experience ends which allows you to move into your next conference session or break.
