Would I Lie To You

We’ve combined some classic games such as Home Truths where teams take turns reading out fascinating facts about themselves, some of which may be true, and others, pure fabrications. It’s up to the opposing teams to use their intuition and deductive skills to determine whether the statements are genuine or outright lies. The more convincing the tale, the trickier it becomes to separate fact from fiction.

Another favourite Would I Lie To You round is This Is My, where the challenge is to unravel the mystery behind an item or photo shared with the group. Teams will engage in a rapid-fire Q&A session to extract the truth and pinpoint the rightful owner. It’s a game of keen observation, clever questioning, and gut instincts.

We’ve also added some of our own games that are based on getting to know each other rather than honing your internal lie detector.  Prior to the day we ask guests to complete a short survey and also submit a self-portrait that we use for the content of each of the rounds.

Who Am I allows teams to strategise and match facts with people in the room in a fun game of deduction. Another popular game is Guess Who where we display the self-portraits that people completed and teams work to match the name.  And finally, The Percentages asks teams to correctly guess the answer to questions in the survey they’ve completed.  For example, teams must answer “What percentage of the group can speak more than 3 languages?”.

Would I Lie To You is an entertaining in-person or hybrid team experience where the rounds, questions and content are all about you.

Because Would I Lie To You used info and answers from within the group, we suggest that it’s an activity best suited to group sizes 20+ to ensure there is enough content to build the rounds.

Prior to the day we send out a short survey link that will take guests 5 minutes to complete.  It includes questions such as ‘what was the first concert you ever attended’ and ‘have you ever walked out halfway through a movie’ so nothing too personal.

We also ask guests to draw a self-portrait and upload it so we can use the drawings to build the Guess Who round.
