Before you hand over your masterpiece, your team faces a super-fun, hands-on challenge. You’ll need to work together seamlessly to construct and decorate your kart, all while the clock relentlessly counts down to zero. This is not just a race; it’s a test of teamwork, problem-solving skills, efficient task delegation, and crystal-clear communication.

We’ve built in some crucial safety measures to ensure that Billy Kart Derby is safe for everyone.

The billy karts are pre-prepared so there is no sawing, drilling or hammering when it’s time to build the karts.  Each team receives a screwdriver and alien key set to connect the pieces and build the kart.

When it’s time to decorate we use drop-sheets to keep the ground protected and use water based paint and markers to add some colour and design without destroying the environment or your clothing!

Our obstacle course is a time trial so teams don’t race head to head and risk injury.  It’s a team based pit crew style challenge where drivers wear a helmet at all times.

It’s a safe, fun, creative charity team building activity that suits people of all ages and fitness levels.

Billy Kart Derby requires a flat, open outdoor space, and unfortunately grass isn’t a very good surface to get the karts moving.

Thankfully we have a number of locations up our sleeve that work really well for Billy Kart Derby.

 Alternatively if you are conferencing somewhere out of town, we’re happy to chat with your resort or hotel to scout some suitable locations such as tennis courts and carparks.

Once the karts are built and raced, our team will transport them offsite and to their brand new homes.
