Red Bull Adventure Race
2 hours of flat out fun and adventure based at Watsons Bay
Red Bull Corporate Adventure Race
Create a fun mini adventure race for Red Bull staff in Watsons Bay, based on the Red Bull Defiance race that involves multiple adventure legs.
We utilised the natural surroundings of Watsons Bay with a Geo Hunt around the cliffs overlooking the ocean where teams searched for markers, we had teams paddle sea kayaks across Sydney Harbour to locate a hidden clue, and teams speed climbed to the top of a climbing wall in an epic 2 hour corporate adventure race.

Picture a perfect day at Watsons Bay in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, where the sun shines brightly, and the sea breeze carries the promise of adventure. It was against this picturesque backdrop that an exhilarating mini-adventure race unfolded, specially crafted for the Red Bull staff as part of their annual conference.
The Red Bull staff were divided into small teams, setting the stage for some intense and friendly competition. The adventure race consisted of three challenging disciplines, each designed to test their physical abilities, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Geo Hunt: The adventure kicked off with orienteering around the scenic headland of Watsons Bay. Teams had to rely on their navigation skills to locate a series of markers and uncover clues to earn valuable points. Amidst the excitement, there were whispers of sabotage and even a hint of cheating, adding an element of intrigue and suspense to the race. It’s safe to say that this part of the competition is still under review, with discussions ongoing about the tactics employed!
Kayak Sprint: Following the orienteering leg, the teams jumped into kayaks for a thrilling sprint across the iconic Sydney Harbour. Their mission was to retrieve a crucial clue hidden at Camp Cove before battling the headwind to return to Watsons Bay. Paddling against the elements and the clock, this segment of the race truly put their endurance and teamwork to the test.
Speed Climbing Challenge: The grand finale of the adventure race was a heart-pounding 7-metre speed climbing wall. Here, four participants from each team went head to head in a gripping match race to reach the top. It was a test of strength, agility, and sheer determination as they raced against their colleagues, each vying for victory.
The adventure race at Watsons Bay proved to be an unforgettable experience for the Red Bull staff. With its mix of physical challenges, strategic thinking, and healthy competition, it was a day filled with laughter, camaraderie, and, most importantly, adventure.
