Discover the Perfect Team Charity Events Experience with Kid Start

For teams that want to take part in a team building activity that gives back to the community, Kid Start is for you.

Starting with a backpack and instructions, teams will compete in a variety of challenges inspired by favourite kids activities to collect essential care items that will be donated to kids charities working in the local community.

It’s fun, rewarding and has a direct impact on your community.

In an amazing race-style challenge, teams locate checkpoints and complete a series of fun challenges that have been designed based on the foundations of a healthy childhood: creative thinking, learning new skills and problem solving.

Frequently Asked Questions

How big is each artwork and how many people does it suit?
Each artwork is 3m x 1m and is suitable for up to 12 people to complete at one time. Any more than that and people aren't actively engaged.
Will we get paint on ourselves?
On your hands, possibly, however we provide aprons, gloves and masks to keep everyone paint-free.
Can you set up at our office or venue?
For sure! We just need to chat with you to ensure that the space meets our safety requirements for this experience.
What if it rains?
Unfortunately rain and paint don't mix well. If it looks likely to rain we can either postpone your experience or move it to an indoor venue.

The aim is to create a sense of play, to laugh and not take ourselves too seriously along the way.

We’ve crafted Kid Start to include team building challenges that allow teams to connect with their inner sense of play.

Challenges include:

  • Movie Moments: recreate and snap scenes from iconic kids movies
  • Red Light, Green Light: the classic schoolyard game with a twist
  • Clown Catch: catch soft balls while wearing oversized clown pants
  • Super Dare + Paper Planes: the ultimate team bonus challenges

After completing each challenge, teams collect care items such as sanitary products, kids clothes, books and school supplies that they bundle into their backpack.

Kid Start is a team building activity that is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

We’ve partnered with local charities to provide essential crisis items for kids and families that can provide immediate support.

In Sydney, Dandelion Support Network help support local families with good quality preloved and new nursery furniture and items for babies and children for families in need.

The items you collect are carefully packed into care packages with love ready for a new family.  The purpose is to assist someone with the simple things in a time of need.

All items are pre-selected by our charity partner prior to the event based on seasonal needs.

This is more than a team vs team challenge.  It’s a gamified giveback experience where you get to collect and donate essential items to charity.  They’re items that we take for granted.  Toothpaste, school supplies, nappies.  But there are families who don’t take them for granted.  On this day, you get to help those families.

Kid Start can be run all over Australia.

We have over 15 set routes in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast and most regional areas.  But the best thing about Kid Start is we can set up a route for anywhere.

Need another location?  Chat with our team and we can tailor the activity to suit your preferred location or venue.
